From stigma to strength: Our story

Four Drops of Us is a global NGO dedicated to breaking menstrual stigma and improving the individual and collective well-being of everyone with a menstrual cycle. We aim to create a world where menstrual health is valued, understood, and supported, fostering a more equitable society for all.

The organization was founded in 2024 by Cateau Oonk, a Master’s graduate in Human-Computer Interaction and Design specializing in digital intimate women’s health and intersectional feminism. What began as a simple idea quickly grew into a movement. With the mission to reframe the menstrual cycle as a source of connection and empowerment, Four Drops of Us became a registered NGO at the start of 2025.

Through our work in education, healthcare advocacy, community building, and research, we aim to dismantle the barriers created by stigma and silence. By fostering menstrual literacy, improving access to equitable care, and creating inclusive spaces for dialogue, we empower individuals to reconnect with their cycles and advocate for their well-being.

Our vision

We envision a world where the menstrual cycle is valued, understood, and supported—free from stigma and inequality. A society where everyone with a menstrual cycle can live a healthy and empowered life, shaped by knowledge, connection, and care.

OUR MISSION

Breaking menstrual stigma and improve the individual and collective well-being of everyone with a menstrual cycle to create a more equitable society for all.
